Poem about people who read too much into you
Face the fact, there things you cannot change
Much time has passed, things will never remain the same
Sometimes I wonder what exactly goes through your brain
When you read my words and think you know what I am saying
Honestly, are you on the brink of going insane
To think you can ever understand the story of my pain

My words are truth
It is up to you
To accept if you choose
They are my thoughts
And my emotion my muse
I'm sorry you have this notion confused
These words are potion for my abuse

You seem to connect every verse to my past
Does it hurt you that bad
To know. The more you try, the less you'll understand
I am twenty six years old, a grown man
Not a child, I'm on my own path
I would have though you'd known that

They say it's never too late
Well I'm afraid that discussion isn't open for debate
Is it you hope to start a clean slate
I am sorry for you haven't the weight
You have been judged and will be crushed by hate
If there ever were, there isn't much to save
You are a fool if you think I can change
