a poem i wrote in school while i was waiting for the bell to ring
Watching the Clock
Tick, tock
Hand on the two
Writing to you

Looking out the window
Hoping it would snow
Hand on the four
Wishing there was more

Listening to a beat
I lightly tap my feet
Hand on the five
Time's dragging behind

The clouds roll by
The excitement's on high
Hand on the seven
Ten minutes closer to Heaven

I fall asleep
Your heart to keep
Hand on the eight
I'll write more when I awake.

Now I feel great
Time's passed since the eight
Hand on the one
I get back to life's fun

I then remember
What I was doing

Watching the clock
Tick, tock
Hand on the two
Writing to you
