poem i made from a picture of one of our foster kids holding up a lizard on his hand
I am being taken from my home
By a scrawny little boy with big fat ears
Ears that don’t work
His squinted evil eyes
Say “I want to torture you”
I play dead
His Parents say let him go
I love his parents
But the scrawny little boy with big fat ears
Ears that don’t work
Takes me to his home instead
He wants to sleep with me he says
And listen to something called Soulja Boy
The scrawny little boy with big fat ears
Ears that don’t work, falls asleep
I find my escape and stop close to the parents
I wish them luck with the scrawny little boy
with big fat ears
Ears that don’t work
