Missing My Father
You say you love me
So, Where were you?

Where were you
When I was alone at night
And my pillow
was soaked
with the water from my eyes
While emptiness
Was the only witness to my cries
Where were you?

You claim to care for me
So, Where were you?

Where were you
When I reached out for your hand
At that place by my side
You swore you'd never abandon
There I was grasping for you
And coming up with nothing
Where were you?

You said you'd never leave
So, Where are you?

Where are you
Now that I'm living
But, dying without you
Living with your pain
Is better than living without it
Where are you?
