Written for the anniversary of my step-son's murder, especially for his mother.
You have a son
You hold so dear
Everyday you miss him
Yet keep him so near

His smile and wit
Keep a grin on your face
Your life and many others
His life and love did grace

He is kept so vital
In your daily walk
Just reach out to loved ones
As your life's rock

To love him now
And yes forever more
The whole world beside you
Always will adore
