Every town has a town's fool; the one we all avoid. In my town, we had Bebang.
A Song for Bebang

The angels cry
yet, they shed not a tear for me.
The heaven clouds over
even for a fly
But not a tear is shed for me.

I've seen the gods
go down on bended knees
for paupers, beggars and the infidel
But not one god has shed a tear for me.

The trumpets blow for other men
for crooks and whores and
thieves and clay wolves
But not a toot for me.

And so I lay
in this cold nook
a smile my smile
as others bid each other
a warm and hearty Merry Christmas.
