My take on the recent bailout.
Mutual Eye, Oh You . . .

In the daze of the eighties,
a cowboy’s vision:
the game needs no referee.

Then through the nineties,
the yuppie’s decision:
growth incessantly.

To the age of terror,
bipolar division,
no end to the debt we see.

And off to the future,
with some supervision:
the Government’s Guarantee.

Perhaps it will unite us,
return the mutual trust,
regain all the glory and fuss,
for the good ol’ “US.”
