This poem is about women searching for their life long partner of the same gender.

My precious girl,
  My beautiful love,
  If you only knew
How long I have been dreaming
    Of you ...
Every day that goes by,
  I spend looking for you.
  Every night I spend crying,
    Praying that I'll find you
    Tomorrow.
Years have come and gone,
  And still no luck.
If I could only find the words
    To express just how much
    I want you.
Where do I begin love?
Where do I begin to explain
All the things I want to do
With you?  How do I explain
How I plan on treating you?
How do I explain my thoughts
And how I feel about you?
How do I explain all the romance
I have in mind for you?
Images continually play in my mind,
  And it only makes me
Want you more.  Images of you
    In my arms and me
    Tracing your curves
      With my fingers in
      The darkness with only
        The light of the television.
Images of us at the beach
  Watching the rise and fall
  Of the sun wrapped in
    Each other's arms.
Images of us at
  Your dining room table
  Laughing and talking on a
    Bright, beautiful sunny
    Summer day.
And images of us resting breathless
  With a continuing desire
  Burning out of control
    From making mad,
    Passionate love.
Lover, can't you see?
  Can 't you see
  How much I need you?
    Can't you see
    How much I miss you?
      Can't you see
      How much love I have
        To share?
