This is about a relationship staying strong and living each day with the hope of tomorrow.
Yesterday, my friends and I, we were talking it over
And they said, that you won’t love me when I get older,
I told them that will not be true
They also said that I would stop loving you.

Today we are both here; our love is strong
I am happy to prove that my friends were wrong,
With good days and bad days, we live our life
My memories take me to the day I became your wife.

Tomorrow is a day that will never come
We only live the day that begins with each new dawn
Our bodies are changing; we are growing old
How fortunate that we have each other to hold.

Yesterday is gone now, but the memories still live on,
Today, we are living it, though some days are “frowned upon”,
Now tomorrow is just a hope that our love always remains
Since it is like the blood that pumps life through our veins.
