How I feel about my wedding band
Wedding bands start out as a symbol of love
a pledge of devotion
soon become handcuffs
another way to keep me
the good girl, good wife
obeying every command
he gets the right to be mean
he gets to lie, manipulate, and blame
blames it all on the wife

wedding bands are actually like a prisoners uniform
the marriage is a jail
he is the warden
freedoms are all taken away
he acts like such a hero
even when I take it off
its still imprinted on me
