Road Trip Ramblings
Where blue meets brown
Where water meets cliffs
Where eyes meet cheeks
Your dimples leak into lips.

The Pacific sun sets.

A fiery streak bleeds
towards the horizon.
I grab your hands tighter
fingers interlocked, sand
crumbled underneath us.
I'm home again.
I wish i were home again.

My waves crash down.

Seaweed surfaces and you're
unsure if this is secure.
I'm new to this state
of mind, but i know the truth.
A seagull flies by and by.
I'm not ready to say goodbye
to today. I say goodbye to the
sun and wish to New York
for an East coast sunrise.
