dedicated to one of my best friends
Forget everything I said before
Forget I got up and slammed the door
Forget that I drove away raging mad
Forget that I left you, speechless and sad
Forget that we didn't talk for a while
Forget that I made it so you couldn't smile
Forget all the nights you kept screaming why
Forget all the people who laughed when you cried
Forget the times when your mom said grow up
Forget the adults who made your life suck
Forget all the times when you couldn't resist
Drinking and cutting yourself on the wrist
Forget all the problems I made for you
Forget the day your heart split in two
And when you're done forgetting, I want you to know
That no matter how deep you hatred may flow
Just remember all the good times we shared
Everything was perfect, no tempers flared
No matter what happens, I'll always love you
And if you'll take me back, I'll take you back too
