He had no watch, but the growl in his stomach told him it was dinner time.  He yawned, stretched and made a mad dash for the kitchen.  A frantic stroll and frenzied check revealed nothing that would pass for food.  His search was futile.  His bowl was empty; she had forgotten to feed him again.
