A love song.
You're not so far away
Today is my soul
My deepest weary.
Nothing clearly to be seen
In my heart,
A subjective art.
Of love
and loss
What to do, with life's afternoon?
A gentle decline
If I say "I love you"
Would you mind?

My hazy self is me
Just as I'd like to be
But if I'm honest
I would be lost at sea
without you.

I'd give you something better
But I can only be me
It doesn't matter.
Can you live my life for me please?
If I bring you love and flowers
would it be enough?

My heart beats life around me
No pressure but
It beats for you
Tell me that you want it to.

You are this dreaming thing
In sleep
By my side.
I will stumble through this obstacle called Life.
To be without you is not
You know I wouldn't want to
But my chosen destiny
Has nothing to do with me...

It would be Hell for me
To shadow through this life
Pretending I don't want you
But I do.
