Frozen Soul
The ice glistens from the walls
Nothing melting from it falls

Despite the heat around
It will still firmly surround
The soul beneath the ice
Only seen with a gaze precise

Trapped soul inside does hope
That it can continue to cope
With the loneliness within
Yearning for that lonely twin
Of the one who might create
Enough heat so the ice dissipate

A difficult job it will be
For the one who free's me
But inside I patiently wait
Putting out my best bait

But it is not a trap I set here
For my heart is truly sincere
For lies it cannot relate
Only true love can it demonstrate

So I wait here until late
For the freeze to abate
And hope my angel in black do appear
And melt the ice around me without fear.
