This is for the 55 Word Contest. My first entry... ever. =)



I let the bead of blood on my fingertip drip into the small circle on the sheet of cardstock. This is my DNA. With the package now signed and sealed, I pause to mentally catalog this moment before I place it in the mailbox. At last the identity of my father will finally be known.
