i wrote this one as a very young person watching a lightning storm (in Arizona of course).
Lady lightning dashed ahead
as thunder followed in her stead
and playing just above my head
I hurriedly climbed out of bed

I watched this ever joyous sight
throughout all hours of the night
she, flashing across the sky
he, laughing, passing by
until the darkness turned to grey
and ushered in a brand new day
