An ambiguous poem I wrote; meant to be interpreted in anyway that applies to the reader.
A fragrant whisper on the wind,
lucious wine filled with poison,
sweet lips speaking false words of wisdom,
charming words laced with cyanide.

Wisps of candlesmoke,
I feel that I shall choke,
Shadows rising like smoke so thick,
Pounding down, throwing me adrift.

Spirals spinning all around,
can't see up and can't see down.
All I hear are the screams,
the screams of your iniquity.

Scars driving deeper, cutting further,
than ever I felt before.
What next? What's in store?

You can't take it back,
these words you've said.
The courage you lack,
you're cowardice I dread.

Claws digging into my soul,
lips parted, losing control.
Fighting back, losing strength,
I've barely had time to think.

I don't believe in this darkness,
I believe in the Light of day.
And for this I will say,
Keep your thoughts to yourself.

Don't drag me down to your level,
I'm looking for something so much better.
There's a shield around me, you cannot see,
But believe me when I say, you can't get to me.

I may fall, and I may slip,
But your lying tongue and deceiving lips,
I'll hear no more, so say no more,
I belong to Light.
