a short poem on not missing out on the small things when in love.
Forever in your arms is but a thought away,
To feel you whisper my name in a midsummers kiss,
To dance under the stars and on the green grass lay,
Are some of the things that I don't want to miss.

To caress the comfort on your face, as you lay beside me,
Carelessly dancing in the mornings mist,
Watching the world spin , letting it be,
Are some of the things that I don't want to miss.

To see you smile is joy to my soul,
Everyday, another is added to my list,
Your manliness astounds me, not too cold,
Are some of the things I don't want to miss.

I could stay awake just to see you sleeping,
Your hands like a babe rolled in a fist,
A quiet tear falls, never creeping,
I cannot bear; I don't want to miss.
