Me and my children wrote this for a contest at The City Rescue Mission
In a sleigh that I built
with my own two hands,
I'm delivering presents
through out the land.

I'm all decked out
in red and white,
dropping off gifts
in the middle of the night.

Why do I do this
at the end of the year,
it starts with a story
you all need to hear.

Born in Bethlehem
in a manger,
accept His Gift
or your life's in danger.

It's about a Man
who's name is J.C.
and how He came to this world
to save you and me.

The Shepard's saw
the star in the sky,
even they all came to recognize.

The wise men came
from far away,
bearing gifts for Him
on this most glorious day.

born in Bethlehem
in a manger,
accept His Gift
or your life's in danger.

King Herod told them
please come back,
so I can go
and worship Him like that.

God warned the men
in a dream that day,
return to your country
another way.

The Angel told Joseph
that he must flee,
so He loaded up the mule
and went to Galilee.

In days of old
when prophets had dreams,
they said the Savior
would be a Nazarene.

Born in Bethlehem
in a manger,
accept his Gift
or you life's in danger.
