Has your heart ever reached out tot he one you missed most?
Midnight Mourning

The clock hits twelve; its midnight and I can’t sleep
I toss and turn without you as the hour slowly creeps
I’m awake, but when I close my eyes your there
Reason says I could sleep forever but I’m so scared

When I dream it’s of you, my eyes closed it’s an illusion
I just want to have you but there is so much confusion
Our bond is so strong, nothing can unstuck what is stuck
Can’t I just blame this all on bad luck?

Midnight hour comes and goes by as I lie in bed
I’m missing you
I’m mourning you
As visions of you dance in my head
I smell you
I taste you
But where is my love?
I try so hard to pass the time staring at the ceiling above

Can’t sleep
Can’t think
You rapture my existence
I just want to find you so close in the distance
We share the same sky, I ask the stars to say hello
The moon whispers back to me saying I’m alone

You linger everywhere I’ve been and will be
I can’t turn back
I can’t let go
It’s you I need
It’s midnight and I’m mourning my muse
I’ve never been as honest or put my bravery to use

For you I’ll do it all just to win your heart again
The past pulls us both in a passion deeper than when it began
Touch me again
Love me again
If I wake will you disappear from me?
I have to find a way to be with you it’s the only way I can sleep…
