I try to dispell the urge
To cut, to bleed, to swallow every pill I can find

"Take a breath,
Count to ten,
Like the doctor told you,
All those years ago"

Am I really the same,
As I once was:
'Ill, insane, derranged'?

I can find words
But my eyes still look blank
