a lyrical concept about romance on a sunday afternoon.
well its sunday afternoon and its pouring rain
me and my girl are sitting around talking it out
she says she likes it when I hold her close
and tell her shes all that I ever wanted
-tells me theres nothing like taking our time when we're hand in hand

so I take her hand
for one of those slow dances
and to the sound of the rain and the whispering wind
we dance round and round circling in slow motion
-slowing it down until the world wraps itself round the two of us

she tells me she wants to lock the doors and light some candles
-share some of those dirty secrets
with a tall glass of wine in flickering light

she says she likes it when I look at her like her eyes hold my universe under lock and key
- and tell her I cant go one minute without thinking of her

so I take her hand
for one of those slow dances
and to the sound of the rain and the whispering wind
we dance round and round circling in slow motion
-slowing it down until the world wraps itself round the two of us

She says she likes it- when we slow it down
