the pain and despair of the Holocaust described in a poem
The Holocaust
The hostile Nazi's created clamor and screams,
people dying everywhere, I wish it was a dream
How could they be so wrenched? Killing hundreds by the hour,
Unable to save themselves from being bamboozled, so all they could do was deign and cower
The thought of this is formidable, but I ensure you it is true,
The mutation of the world was boisterous, but there was nothing we could do.

The Nazi's divulged the bodies, and left them on the street,
some died from starvation, others had been beat
Others believed the fallacies, which were misleading lies,
told to shower but the room filled up with gas and everyone would die.

We can not choose our heritage, decorum, family or friends,
but they all stayed up late aspiring that soon their pain would end.
Watching people being killed is as bizarre as it may be,
It is as scary as a gargoyle, something frightening to see.

The situation was a tumult, a random, harsh misleading,
the Nazi's didn't stop after all the cries and bleeding.
We would pray for tranquility, to soon be free,
the Holocaust was a nuisance, or so it seemed to be
the Germans choose a bad strategy, a very horrible technique
to kill a lot of people who were not like them, but they were unique

A the war receded, and the survivors were set free,
they exulted and were jovial and as happy as can be
