So much pain

many were hurt

bodies covered in dirt
9/11
the day of death
9/11
millions took their last breath
9/11
at 8:46
9/11
A day that will stick
9/11
A day of broken hearts
9/11
an era of new starts
9/11
A horrible day
But it’s real, and it’ll stay

something in us broke
