talking about trees
Trees
Long ago the trees spoke
Spoke through the blowing breeze.
The wind softly whispered
Redwood to Oak,
gently conversing with ease.

Years pass on, humans roam the lands.
The trees verbalize to humans,
But the humans do not heed,
for they are oblivious beings.

In melancholy the trees
Start submerging,
deep with in their roots.
No longer talking,
Now the wind blows
without a whisper.
