She sat in her room and began to wonder Something good girls don't dare to ponder...
Fabrication of the Imagination

She sat in her room and began to wonder
Something good girls don't dare to ponder
"Cutters" she said "Why do they cut?"
She was told for relief...but

Who would harm their body in such a way?
The thought of blood and blade brought much dismay

How it soothes
And how it tingles
The blade through which my imagination kindles

Maybe just once i'll give it a try
With pocket knife at hand a tear fell from her eye
"I can't do it" she cried and threw down the tool
"To cut my skin, I must be a fool"

She lay on her bed and came to a conclusion
My imagination she thought could create an illusion

How it soothes
And how it tingles
The blade through which my imagination kindles

She sat up straight and looked down at her arm
How weird it was to use a writers mind for harm
Her eyes now closed she formed the blade
Then had it stroll her wrist, like a parade

The Sensation of pain and releif was there
But the puncture of skin i need not bear

How it soothes
And how it tingles
The blade through which my imagination kindles
