Isolated Christmas
False smiles and empty eyes,

Time stands still and never flies.

Painful stomach moans away,

Another lonely Christmas day.

Families gathering near,

Showing love that's oh so dear.

Sharing food,wines and eggnog too,

All the while wishing it was you.

Colors of reds, silver and green,

Streets becoming so serene.

A calm city fills the air,

A lonely Christmas again to bare.

Christmas Carols choirs sing,

But sad tears it will bring.

No family or friends again this year.

Only pain rings in the New Year.
