Friendships just isn't what it used to be
Friendships just aren't what they used to be

Read along and soon you will see

What used to be considered a bond between friends

Has now been surrendered causing our friendship to end

something so simple out of my control

nothing could prepare for what you have told

changing what mattered into whats not

and blaming others and instead you forgot

What gift of friendship, which after many years, we had

now torn by misunderstanding anger, oh how so very sad

that you could not see the pain you have caused

Instead you point fingers and begin the insults

You chose to accuse for reasons unknown

knowing very well responsibilities had unfold

No longer was it easy to forgive and forget

I wonder if you'll live with regret

though I think not, you've shown no signs

this time I suppose is goodbye; forget the good old times.

Thank you for reading,
