A moral poem to using words. a poem to ponder.
              Words
I kindly ask, you take the time
to slowly read this all,
they're only words, at the end of the day,
from your mind they may quickly fall

I only hope, by reading this
they urge your mind to flow,
or even stir a thought or two,
before you let them go.

Words are just a window,
just one way for you to see,
an opening of understanding,
of all there is to be

Sometimes they can be jumbled,
or taken the wrong way,
they come accross in different tones,
depending on the day.

For words alone are empty,
merely a tool of ones expression,
words take you on a journey,
or simply teach us each a lesson.

Words can tell us stories,
open secrets that we keep,
lift us upwords to the sky,
or cut to wound so deep.

Sometimes when used too loosely,
leave a devastating trail,
spoken often seldom heard,
cause communication to fail.

So take some time to hear them,
when spoken chose them well,
think before you set them free,
for everyone to tell.
