Will you end the relationship, or will it end you?
Until the end, how do we know,
Just what tragedy has been wrought
On our soul, our psyche?

When does the time come to call quits
What once consumed your heart
With joy, passion, peace and love?

In the answer to one, will we find the other?

When the conclusion is written
At the end of the play,
Or even at the beginning, within their own minds,
The destruction ceases, and tolls are taken
To determine the extent of carnage.

Only in those moments, whenever they occur,
Can the third question be asked and answered:
Must you destroy the relationship
Before it destroys you?
