Away in Italy, the days just fry by for you
I wish you would come back (though I
would be camping in the rain)
Even the sky is crying because you are not here.

Where you are, sunsets bleed off towards home
Light, sulking on the skyline
admits defeat.
You wish another evening goodnight
Days diminish in the heat.
