Written about a friend who just left without saying good-bye.
Goodbye my friend, I will miss you.
We went to school together; you and I.
We graduated, went to work and for four years, our lives, were entwined.

But just like that: you were gone.
Without a word, without a care;
our friendship severed without a tear.

How did I not see this coming?

Still, I'm awaiting the diffusion of confusion,
this reception of deception has me refusing and accusing
you of things I would never have dreamed of.

This pain. I can't get rid of this pain.
It drains my eyes.

I can't analyze the truth from lies,
you didn't even say goodbye. Why?
What is it in me that you despise?

I don't understand how a man, can hold my hand,
touch my hair and hold me tight,
then just leave me one night, with out a trace.

An empty space is all that's left of you and me.
On display you've placed my agony.
But, I guess that's the price I pay, for your cowardice.

Your chalice filled with malice , and yet I tried to fill it with love;
a love I alone have bared, because clearly you never cared.

Goodbye my friend, I will miss you.
We went to school together you and I.
We graduated, worked and for four years our lives were entwined.
Goodbye my friend.
Goodbye.
