Looking for love in all the wrong places
Drunken dancing with pre-dawn darkness
I wait on the corner of the historic district
stumbling into the middle of the street
headlights illuminate my indiscretion.

numbness feels to me apparent,
motives look to you transparent,
question our choices i dare'nt,
for our love is volatile.

when silence follows euphoria
we've perfected paranoia.
