Lenore spent her New Year's Eve unaware that a dull disposition maketh a dull countenance.

Lenore's December 31

Gone all the nights when she was warm,

With a glass of Amontillado she sparked up.

A New Year's Eve with thoughts a-swarm,

Blissful isolation at "Evanescence Stop".

Two bottles she dug, drops left to sip,

Lenore sights mirage of silent fright.

Vines creep around her, pointing her lip,

Ready to haunt poor, dull Lenore's night.
