Man's eyes are blindfolded by darkness of society. Its time he takes control of his life.
Another head hangs lowly, walking slowly
To reach the gibbet of higher ordain
Death is bounty for such life
Living under domination is life in vain.
Limbs transfixed, thoughtless mind
Lifeless eyes that cannot see
The rights and the wrongs same for him
Alive he is no more than a zombie.
Searching frantically as far as he can
To look for someone who has authority
But he sees, its not he
Nor is it his family.
Arrested in confinement of society
That is strong since civilization’s age
Is it there for betterment of life,
Or to imprison life in its cage?
He has been blinded by its shine
This mere reflection has desolated the life of many
Society is playing its trumpet since ages
But he has been dumb to its cacophony.
Its clearing out the forest of reasoning
Making barren the sands of time
Restricting his life, it is
But none convict it of this crime.
Binding dynamism of life in predefined norms
Society’s hideous face he cannot ignore
The more he sees, the more he understands
The more he understands, he hates it more.
Society directs his actions and plays his life
Since birth he has been its slave
And his master it will be
Until his cadaver rests in his grave.
