Poetry of praise and sorrow
I’d drive away the demon of sorrow
which feeds of my heart.
Let there be light where darkness once prevailed,
but let the Sun be dark...

If the world were to be made perfect
you’d be the only one
who’d need not change.

Misplaced trust may lead to bitter tears,
as do all foolish hopes without an earthly ground.
Let all the haughty ones climb up as they desire...
For every conquered height, another one falls down.

If God were to take by His side
the soul who’s worthiest of all
you’d only be returning home.
