love and pain
You smile, see the stars shine
I sit in that darkened alley
you walk by talking as though all is fine
I hide from everyone, hiding my envy
You run to smiles and cheers
I flee from the light and happiness
You seem to find ways to inspire your peers
I love to mutilate my own flesh
You fit in the places of teenage life
I wish for deaths cold grasp
You laugh and visit without strife
I want the hands clammy clasp
You laugh and smile with your years
I watch in vein as all my hopes and dreams disappear
You trudge on knowing no fears
I flee into darkness, so easily scared.
For you trust comes so easily
For me, I can not even trust a soul
For you love comes so naturally
For me there lies only a deep dark hole.
