An unedited version, but feedback is most appreciated.
Are you willing to throw me away?
Like the droplets of tears you wipe so fearlessly,
I’ll touch for a moment then be flung into the open,
Tell me,
Is it time now?

From the stones of the floor,
We’ll be ourselves again.
I’ll breathe hard this time,
And maybe the heavy air,
Will push my lips to smile.

My words,
Were they measured,
In seconds,
Seconds like those you spend,
Unconscious but breathing?

From the weather to my heart,
I’ll keep my lips moving.
And maybe I’ll be strong enough,
To conceal our silences.

Will you feel,
What you forget?
Or am I,
The reaper,
Of the tragedy?

Come with me, for this moment,
I’ll show you no gravity.
And for once,
You’ll see,
My smile,
Was never there.
