For all my fellow myth lovers, have fun, and read into, it makes it fun! I LOVE COMMENTS!
The Gods

Those of divinity
That blissful ecstasy
Those ultimate beings
Or should I say penultimate
They are the Immortals
With Every Mortal Problem

They themselves are contradiction
Hermes
God of the Wayfarer
Yet, the God of thieves
He’s the Lord of Hospitality
The Greek’s most basic
Chivalry
Lord also of clever and cunning
Deceit
How could One be Two?

They’re the deathless Gods
Capable of all except perfection
Masters of deception
And benders of perception
It’s their right to have fault
Without it, they would hardly be known
Their whims are reality
Untamed and unplanned for

Who’s the clean up after them
Surely not those they watch over
Those ignorant mortals

But yes, it’s them
Every so often they breed a hero
A mighty defender against the monsters created by…
The Gods?

The Gods were merely mortal it seems
When Gaea and Uranus had only to touch them
And make everything those rival-rich children are
Amplified
Which is divine
Or is one simply a lesser evil
Which and who might it be
Those anger-wrought Immortals
Or
Might it be
Those of lesser power
Those of lesser problem
Which is truly divine
Who are truly The Gods
