this poem on being different
Different

The day came and went…
When we would admit
That what we did was nothing apart of perfect

From there I would cry
With the fears in my eyes

That I was nothing
Short of different

But lifting our heads high
A saying let us try

To fix this imperfection that
No one can describe

And the days will come and go

With nothing for my own
But to say that I am different because I say so

Its nothing but a label a thought in my mind
So lets put this aside

That we could change this if we tried

To beat this battle
Try to break the spell

We can all be one
Put aside our diversity

And try to survive in this world
Of changing time
