Originally written for a song of mine, I decided to use it as a poem instead.
Woe

Why woe my timeless fiend
d'you always exist to persist
and scarcely let me feel
but joyless tears from all the aching

With pain your company grim
preying on my misfortune
solely destined to
my heart condemn, cast off my hopes
into ground so barren nothing grows

Descend from high above
my lonely dreams and wishful pleas
in mockery of my love
for you and disharmony it brings
frowning upon me, relentlessly
