Perplexing fate
... i'm standing on the edge ~ i'm holding your hand ~ it's really high now that i look down ~ how far will you fall if i let go ~ how long can i hold on ~ should i ~ i've been here before and i made it back alive ~ do i want to go there again ~ something tells me i don't ~ this is your battle and you will earn it on your own ~ how to fight and win ~ to protect your gift of life or succumb to the death that she has in store for you ~ i can already see how black your heart is on one side ~ did i tell you, i've been here before ~ my heart bares the same dark space ~ he tried to take my soul and suffocate my mind ~ i almost didn't make it back ~ i almost didn't try ~ but somehow i did ~ God gave me wings ~ i jumped from the edge one day thinking i would die ~ but instead an Angel clutched my tethered soul and taught me how to fly ~ i'm here for a reason ~ that, i don't know why ~ and why i must keep suffering these cold dark passages of love ... from my first gasp of breath as an infant child to this very day ~ why does love deny me ~ i refuse to give up on my journey ~ i will make it to the other side ~ maybe jaded and torn but i will make it to LOVE ~ God willing
