The blindingness of love, and what lies beneath it.
Love glares, A heart- focused torch
blinded in the brilliant light.
Blink, caught in the headlights.
Captured staring, and blinking in fright

never shield your eyes
And the force of it makes you cry.

Moth flies towards the flame
intoxicated in the beams.
Float, delicate, into the fire
dance, towards the dazzling dream

never hide, don’t waver
the burning heat is warning - Danger.

The torch has no off-switch or standby,
the fire will burn to it’s end.
Battery, flame,over when they die.
No new ones can repair or mend
no replace batteries, no wood to re-light and go on
no recharge, no ignition sparks
Move on, it’s done, it’s gone
(it’s gone, it’s done, move on)

Beneath the flare, lies wood, or plastic.
The light invited you to the casket.
