Friend of mine said this was her favorite of 38, another side of me
Who's God to you?
Do you see him when the sky's blue
Or in all the drops of rain
Does he know your pain?
The God I know
He comes below
Leaves the gate
And tells you to tempt fate
The test he gives
Your failure He forgives
Just be yourself
Don't sit on the shelf
The God I know
Can bend his bow
Cause the rain
And set you free from pain
Rewards you for rising above fate
So you get more than a look at the grate
Turns your worst failure
To your greatest allure
That's the God I know.
