A poem about drowning in love
Gold

the gold in his eyes

pulls me in

and when I think

when I think

I'm about to fall in

smoky lashes close

and open

then

and then

I am pulled in again

and all is lost for me and I think

I think

I must flow with the golden undercurrent

or else

else

I might die because I can't breathe

when I am gasping for air trying to fight

the golden undercurrent

that continuously pulls me in

deeper and deeper every time.
