A poem about a school day.
In the morning, they slam their lockers noisily.
Students talk loudly.

Laughing, they journey to their next class.
The teacher hassles them for being late.

The rebellious ones get yelled at
for not doing their homework,
as the industrious ones quietly keep working.

In gym, they chat
while they wait for
their turn to bat.

Later, they daydream while
the mean teachers
ramble on and on.

The students also pass notes,
so they don't die of boredom.

At the end of the school day,
the students attend the assembly.

After the assembly, students gather
their bags and go home after saying goodbye
to their friends.
