We can do more good than we think. What if we choose not to?
A young girl crying at the end of her fuse;

A knife carfully hidden, such easy reach to be used.

Another walks by and sees, and makes the choice,

To comfort the girl; let her use her voice.

The consequences, only God can say,

If that common angel walked away.

A lonely child in school at his desk

With bottled up feelings; seeming quiet at best.

No one could know that his mind soon might break

And into his hands innocent lives he might take.

Yet from another student a simple smile received, a decision to be frendly,

Comforts his heart and calms his mind gently.

What if that smile had been horded that day?

What if that angel had walked away?

Everywhere are people hurting.

Of this, we seem ignorant. Why aren't we learning?

Learning there are many seemingly insignifigant ways,

To help another and save their days.

We must make the choice to help those in need,

Even if on the outside they seem perfect indeed.

Inside might be broken; Just a word or helping hand

Can steady torn people and let them firmly stand.

Never think you are not enough to brighten another's day.

What will happen if you, the angel, walks away?
