Just a poem about life
Sometimes the weight of the world
Seems too much to bear
And the waters of ambiguity
Take my last breath

Sometimes I feel like I’m naked
Lying under a glass ceiling
With no refuge in sight

Sometimes the edge
Moves closer to my feet
And higher ground
Is only a mirage in the distance

Sometimes the minutes escape
Into a blurry haze
That I can’t see through

Sometimes I dream of a place
That does not exist
Just to escape the madness
For only a moment
