Best friend by far

                                            She's my best friend by far
                                      Even when it feels as if we're at war
                                            She pretends that I'm right,
                                  because she doesn't like to deal with fights


                                    She's there through thick and thin,
                                        and by my side until the end.
                                        She keeps me going strong
                                    to help me deal with right from wrong.


                                        As we've grown through the years
                                  She's helped me deal with all of my fears
                                          Times when I've felt so small
                                    she held me up and wouldn't let me fall.
